Tony Ramy has been working in the hospitality sector for decades.
He graduated from the Grand Lycée Franco-Libanais and later earned a business degree (licence en gestion des entreprises et management) from Université Saint Joseph in 1996.
Soon after graduation, he became part of the management
team of Al Sultan Brahim & Diwan Beirut group of restaurants, where he oversaw the successful expansion of the restaurants in Lebanon and in the region. Such concepts include the group of restaurants of Al Falamanki, B018, Trainstation as well as Mama Pita. Today, over one thousand persons are employed across Tony’s group of restaurants. In 2009, he joined the Syndicate of Owners of Restaurants, Cafés, Night-Clubs & Pastries in Lebanon, where he served as General Secretary. After leading many of the Syndicate’s achievements, he was elected as its President in 2014. Tony was awarded the Medal of the President of the Republic of Lebanon by President Michel Sleiman and is also committed to the United Nations World Tourism Organization. Recently, he was voted as Hospitality’s Man of the Year by Hospitality News Middle East's Industry Forecast 2016.
