In 2005, Mark Abboud completed his business administration studies and earned his degree. Since then, he has embarked on a successful career, initially joining a consortium of multinational offshore companies. Over the years, he has held the role of CFO in multiple companies, a position he continues to hold today. Establishing his trading company in 2012, he ventured into the food and beverage industry in 2018. This marked the inception of Ayloul restaurant in Annaya, Jbeil, renowned for offering top-notch Lebanese cuisine in the region. In 2021, he enrolled in a franchise course offered by the MENA-based and top-tier consulting firm Hodema, gaining solid expertise in food and beverage as well as culinary art operations. This course helped Mark gain a franchise portfolio for his restaurant. Building on this experience, in 2023, he successfully launched his own venture—Ayla by Ayloul—a restaurant in the city of Jbeil, incorporating a unique blend of Italian and international cuisine. Ayla By Ayloul made a notable impact on the local Byblos community by drawing in tourists. Whenever anyone thought of visiting Byblos to savor its cuisine, Ayla By Ayloul was invariably a top choice in their minds. Mark's love for his community and fondness for Jbeil extend beyond his restaurant. He not only serves the city through his eatery but also dedicates special times each week to assist those in need within Jbeil and its surrounding district.
